REMEMBERING FALLEN SOLDIERS

Many Americans are unaware of the sacrifices made by our servicemembers and their families. They will never know what it is like when a loved one goes off to war, or experience the emotionally wrought homecoming of that loved one. They do not understand what it is like for servicemembers who are deployed and for the family members who keep things going at home. And they will never know the worry that comes with the knowledge that news of the injury or death of a loved one who is deployed could come at any moment.

The personal experiences of our heroes and of their families, along with the feelings, thoughts, and creative outlets of individuals involved in the “war-time experience” should be shared!

If you are a service member or the spouse, son, daughter, parent or loved one of a member of our military, please send us your thoughts, feelings, letters, e-mails, poems, stories, tributes, songs and original works so that we may help others to understand.

We honor all those who so selflessly serve in our volunteer military service, and pay homage to their families who shoulder an immeasurable burden.
