GI FILM FESTIVAL

FREEDOM IS NOT FREE is a proud sponsor of the 2009 GI FILM FESTIVAL in WASHINGTON, D.C.

The GI Film Festival, in its third year, is the only film festival dedicated to the sacrifices of the American military. This year's festival is hosted by award winning actors Gary Sinise and Robert Duval, and features special screenings of the HBO documentary, "Taking Chance," starring Kevin Bacon, and the major motion picture, "Valkyrie," with Tom Cruise.

Freedom Is Not Free executive director, Jay Kopelman, is a member of the GI Film Festival's Military Advisory Committee. He will be at the film festival this year from 13-17 May.
