MISSION VIEJO, Calif. – February 2, 2012 – Kaleidoscope Entertainment Center has kicked off its “Purple Hearts Campaign” to run through Valentine’s Day, benefitting Freedom Is Not Free a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting wounded service members and their families, and the families of the fallen.
Participating Kaleidoscope businesses will raise money through Purple Heart Donation Cards, which will be displayed in windows. Kaleidoscope and Freedom Is Not Free have also partnered through Facebook. For every fan that “likes” Kaleidoscope, $1.00 will be donated to Freedom Is Not Free. Medical Uniforms will donate twenty percent of all purple uniforms that are sold from February 1 – 14 to Freedom Is Not Free.
On Sunday, February 12, from 12-3 p.m., Kaleidoscope will host “A Tribute to our Nation’s Heroes and Their Families”. The event will kick off with our National Anthem to be performed by the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band. Other performances will include synchronized ice-skating numbers by Ice’Kateers of Anaheim, dance performances from Cal Elite’s Classical Contemporary Ballet Company, and a musical patriotic performance from OCHSA Music Theatre soloists and guitarist.

This Valentine’s, Freedom Is Not Free and Kaleidoscope teamed up to let them know that America does care and appreciates all they have sacrificed.”
