FREEDOM IS NOT FREE is proud to announce the second annual 'Little Warriors' Surf Camp at La Jolla Shores was a blast!
We are extremely happy to report that this year's camp was even bigger and better than last year's inaugural camp. Last year's camp was such a huge success that we sold out this year's sessions -- four two-day sessions for 25 campers each -- in UNDER THREE HOURS!
Here's what parents had to say about this year's camp:
“It was a great experience for my kids! Overall, I'd give the camp a 9 rating (out of 10). Your organization provided something for my kids that I couldn't and I am forever grateful for that. Thank you for your hospitality and a huge thank you to the staff and volunteers who interacted with the kids. Speaking for my family alone, the male interaction was so what they needed with Dad being away. They (my kids) have talked about this virtually every day since camp. We look forward to our first outing with the surfboard this coming weekend!"
“Overall, I would say a near perfect 10! The updates were gerat, very simple registration, location is outstanding...very thankful for the experience!!!”
“The program was, by far, a 10. You did things for my daughter that I never could have done for her myself. Thank you for that. My daughter loved her surf instructor. I was very impressed by her kindness and gentle attitude toward my daughter.”
“Our experience was amazing, definitely a 10. I honestly can't imagine it being better, the kids were so happy and exhausted at the end of each day, the instructors were friendly and helpful. We were very impressed by the level of professionalism and the fact that they (kids) got a surf board was amazing. We have been to the beach 3 times since surf camp has ended and that makes it an even better experience for them since it didn't have to end after the camp did. Once again, thank you, we are so grateful.”
